Ivy specializes in helping organizations build end-to-end communications strategies that take advantage of the full spectrum of marketing channels, including the internet, press, social media, collateral, portals, newsletters, stakeholder outreach, events, speaking engagements, blogs and research reports. Whether building a visual brand, crafting a compelling message or working with the media, Ivy helps clients determine the best way to tell their story, educate their audiences, and portray a professional image.
Since founding Spire, she has created and implemented marketing programs for well-known public- and private-sector organizations such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Federal Health Architecture, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, DARPA, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security BioWatch program, Software AG, Alion Science and Technology, among others.
Before starting Spire, Ivy’s background included working at publicly-traded technology companies and marketing agencies, including MicroStrategy, Software AG, and Ogilvy Public Relations, among others.
Ivy is a consummate “foodie,” ever on the search for the exceptional culinary experience. She also has a passion for travel and can temper those occasional stressful days by conjuring up trip memories to places like Bali, Buenos Aires, Sante Fe, Paris, Bavaria and Vermont.
Ivy earned a Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University.
